We can help law enforcement organizations and agencies, large and small with the disposal of surplus, confiscated, turned-in, obsolete, or out-of-date explosive materials such as:
- Small Arms ammunition
- Riot Control Materials
- Self Defense Chemicals and Devices
- Fireworks
- Airbag Inflators
- Detonators
- Flares or other pyrotechnic emergency devices such as smokes/dyes/signals
- Explosive materials, e.g., black powder and smokeless powder
- Other explosive wastes
We meet the highest standards of accountability and security for protection of these materials in compliance with DoD and ATF rules and regulations.
We provide certificates of destruction upon disposal of your materials.
We can help with all of your paperwork including waste characterization, and can answer question and help with Packaging and Transportation.
Note: If your location generates less than 220 lbs total of hazardous waste per month and does not accumulate more than 2200 lbs of hazardous waste at any time, your location can be considered as a Conditionally Exempt Small Quantity Generator (CESQG) and as such many of the hazardous waste rules will not apply. For example, unless you are located in Texas or Louisiana, you may be able to ship your waste explosives to us for disposal as hazardous materials on a bill of lading, and not as hazardous waste on a hazardous waste manifest. This can result in a significant reduction in your transportation costs. We will help you sort out those details so that your disposal costs, including transportation will be as low as possible and meet all of the regulatory requirements.
